Ayurveda recommends eating your largest meal during midday, when your digestive fire (Agni) is strongest. A lighter dinner in the evening helps to avoid overloading your digestive system before bedtime.
The environment in which you eat is equally important. Ayurveda suggests eating in a calm, peaceful space free from distractions like television or work. A serene eating environment enhances digestion and ensures that your body fully absorbs the nutrients from your food.
